Opening Reception

June 25th, 2008

What a night on Tiburon’s Ark Row! Over 200 people showed up to celebrate the opening of Felidae Conservation Fund’s new work space, over wine and appetizers, raffle, artwork, and outstanding live music by Otis Scarecroe. A phenomenal crowd gathered together and indulged in light fare to support conservation, and enjoy a night in historic Tiburon with fellow passionate individuals. Guests conversed freely and listened to Otis play his meaningful tunes.

As the music played, visitors watched slideshow presentations about Felidae’s growing portfolio of research projects and partners. Volunteers shared information on the status of in situ wild cat populations and our role in maintaining viable populations of felids in their natural habitats around the world. This event not only raised funds for wild cat projects, but also commenced the launch of a broad education and awareness campaign that Felidae Conservation Fund will provide to the community. Come and visit our new office and retail space in Ark Row, Tiburon to help save the cats and the ecosystems they inhabit.
